Welcome
Hello and welcome. I’m Florence Hopkins—a psychologist, dog mum, and wellbeing nerd. I am a registered psychologist originally from the UK and moved to Australia during my schooling years. I completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Sydney and Masters of Clinical Psychology at Bond University, before returning to my hometown to establish my practice.
My approach focuses on supporting individuals through life’s challenges — including anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I am dedicated to creating a safe, collaborative, and client-focussed space where you feel understood and supported.

Philosophy
At Florence Psychology, my work is guided by values that I believe are at the heart of meaningful therapy. I value connection, creating a space where you feel truly seen and understood. I bring humour into sessions, helping to lighten heavy moments and remind us that healing can coexist with joy. Kindness guides everything I do — from the way I listen to the way I support you through challenges. And above all, I strive to build trust, so you feel safe to explore, grow, and be yourself without judgment.
